I’ve only known these trees for five years but I need the summer sun here for other things. I tapped these friends this season and made sugar. I will cremate their bones in honor of and in the stove boiling next years sugar. I make sugar from Silver, Red, Manitoba Maples, and Black Walnut on 8 acres of spoiled and loved earth. My syrup is a variety in each bottle.
