Our farm is home to a young orchard of about 200 trees, maple, apple, mulberry, peach, pear and plum. They’re not all quite in full production yet, but when they are we aim to mostly make sugar. We like the sweeter parts of farming and want to make every day taste better.
We are still turning our pasture into production and we try to do it the right way, mostly the hard way for some reason. We only ask our tractors, who are twice our age to help if they have to. We do a lot of hanging out with our areas to get them to where they should be. We think about the insects, we like birds to get their share and its a good spot trying hard.
